Massage on the Square is a partnership between two therapists that was formed out of a mutual love for the city of Denton, and a desire to offer professional, affordable and therapeutic massage. Growing out of a shared belief that massage should be accessible and tailored to each client, Massage on the Square offers a variety of services to fit your individual needs.
Center for Natural Therapeutics in Richardson, Texas in 2003. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Hot Stone and Prenatal massage modalities. In addition to being a massage therapist, Laura is a classically trained opera singer, who performs around the DFW area, as well as with opera companies around the country.
Molly Roberts – Molly received her massage license in March 2000 from the Academy of Healing Arts in Denton, TX. Molly specializes in Deep Tissue, therapeutic body work. She has advanced training in prenatal massage, trigger point therapy, chair massage, myofascial release of the head, neck and TMJ, as well as deep tissue of the upper and lower extremities. When Molly isn't working on clients she stays busy at home with her husband of 9 years and 3 children.
Gwen R. Scott – Gwen received her massage certificate in Pinellas Park, Florida at the Humanities Center in 2002. She moved to Denton in 2005. In 2006 Gwen took her Massage Texas board exam in Austin, Texas. Gwen specializes in basic techniques of Swedish massage, hot stone massage, Integrated Relaxation Massage, Myofascia Release, Muscle Energy techniques, Neuromuscular therapies and Trigger point techniques. Gwen creates a caring and secure space for her clients by using her nurturing and intuitive manner.
Wendy O'Hearn has accepted an offer to teach French in Denton ISD. While we are sorry she will no longer be a part of Massage on the Square, we are extremely excited that she has the opportunity to pursue her dreams. We wish her the best of luck!
